Welcome to LegallyNik.

Nik is a highly experienced Family and Child Protection Lawyer, having practised for over 13 years representing both professionals, including social workers, and members of the public within the family justice system.

Throughout her legal career, Nik developed a deep understanding of the complexities that families face during some of the most emotionally challenging periods of their lives. Her work has always centred around safeguarding children whilst navigating the difficult dynamics that often arise in separation, divorce and high-conflict co-parenting.

In 2023, Nik created LegallyNik across TikTok and Instagram. What began as a platform to share accessible legal information quickly evolved into a trusted space for parents navigating the family court system. Through her content, Nik aims to break down complex legal processes, empower individuals with knowledge, and provide reassurance to those who often feel overwhelmed and isolated during proceedings.

In 2024, responding to the growing demand for guidance and support, Nik launched her 1:1 Consultations. This service allows individuals to openly and confidentially discuss their circumstances, enabling Nik to provide thoughtful, compassionate and informed guidance grounded in her legal experience. Her approach combines practical legal context with emotional awareness, helping clients move forward with clarity, boundaries and confidence.

Through the McKenzie Friend services, Nik offers strategic legal insight, practical support through court proceedings, and the tools individuals need to navigate high-conflict co-parenting and family litigation from preparation of applications, statements to assessments and hearings.

Nik’s mission is simple: to ensure that no parent facing the family justice system feels alone, uninformed or powerless during one of the most difficult chapters of their life.
